The most elegant of all mediums and the most relaxing is candlewicking. A little more involved than Sashiko but those colonial knots are fab. Jean Jensen has been the master for many years with her booklets with so many patterns in each edition and incorporates some satin stitch, stem stitch with the knots to create these stunning vintage designs.Put them into Quilts, cushions, throws, tablecloths etc.
